PADM2 is currently under development and already counts on the acquisition of the MOE software, essential for molecular docking and modeling activities. The team received specialized training from the Chemical Computing Group, enhancing their expertise in the tool. In parallel, a custom software for the identification and characterization of single-stranded siRNAs is being developed, with requirement analysis completed and implementation in progress. The group is also creating SiRNAseeker, an algorithm dedicated to siRNA selection. Partial results so far are promising, highlighting the efficiency of software acquisition, collaborative teamwork, and the commitment to creating innovative solutions in bioinformatics and RNA-based technologies.
At this stage, there are no published results yet, but the project has already achieved important milestones such as fast software acquisition, effective collaborative work, and significant progress in siRNA-related tools. These advances are paving the way for impactful future publications and dissemination.
